The Case

A highly polished, three-piece stainless steel case, featuring sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating and hidden gaskets front and back. The specification also includes a screwed-down case back and screw-in case tube fitted with a triple gasket crown. The case is 43mm in diameter, has a thickness of 13mm and measures 22mm between the lugs.

The Case Back & Movement

A fully polished case back, fitted with a double curved sapphire crystal with three layers of anti-reflective coating. The modified 11 ½ ligne calibre VB - 24A automatic movement features 26 jewels, perlage and blued screws. Other highlights include a Glucydur balance, an Anachron balance spring and a Nivaflex 1 mainspring. The balance has a frequency of 28,800 bph and features a 38-hour power reserve and a skeletonised, decorated rotor. The movement is suspended in a ring of mu-metal which helps protect it from excessive magnetic forces.

The Dial & Hands

Hydraulically stamped double curved blue dial with white printing. The dial features steel hands and applied steel hour markers, both of which are coated in Super-LumiNova ® C7. The specification also includes a blue date disc with white printing.

Van Brauge watch straps

The Strap & Buckle

Fitted with a blue Everglade alligator strap with matching blue stitching and quick release spring bars. The strap is fitted with a custom-made stainless steel buckle.

Not only does the box feature an aesthetically pleasing outer sleeve, but it also comes with some extras such as a customised spring bar tool, luxury polishing cloth a owner’s medallion and spare strap, your purchase becomes much more than just the timepiece itself. Thus, the Oxford collection was born, melding together the style and sophistication synonymous with this historic city. But the inspiration did not stop there - as a connoisseur of fine gin, I decided to infuse each unique timepiece with the name of different gin varieties. The result is a truly magnificent collection of watches, each reflecting the exquisite characteristics of its namesake and the undeniable charm of Oxford.
