The Case

The case of this watch is fashioned from 316L stainless steel with a satin-finish and polished lugs. It has a diameter of 42.00mm, spanning from 7H to 2H, and thickness of 16.00mm. The screw-down crown, which is also made of 316L stainless steel ensures depths of up to 200m or 600ft can be achieved. The double-curved sapphire crystal is triple-coated, providing clear legibility and the bezel has a five minute graded sapphire insert which is unidirectional jack-hammer-click rotating.

The Case Back

The case back of the Ocean Explorer Arctic is enchanting, featuring breathtaking deep-etching and immaculate hand-finishing that culminates in a stunning illustration of the Kraken after its prey, evocative of the 1950s era.

The Dial & Hands

A unique double layered 1970`s Style graduated two tone colour dial with printed hour indexes in 7500 Swiss Super-LumiNova®. The bottom half of the dial is made from Mu Metal and act as the top of the faraday cage protecting the movement from excessive magnetic forces. The Strap & Buckle

The GS Ocean Explorer watch comes fitted with a 22.00mm crushed Italian leather black strap with of white stitching. Additionally, there is a second strap crafted from black Metallocene Butadiene Rubber. Both straps are fitted with a 20.00mm two-tone finished 316L stainless steel VB buckle, meticulously designed to match both options.

The GS Arctic watch is meticulously presented in a Jules Verne-inspired gold leaf Meridian Explorer book, featuring top-quality Italian crushed leather straps in tobacco, coupled with custom two-tone 316L stainless steel VB buckles.
